Single & Ongoing Classes Ages 16+
Single Classes are perfect for individuals who want to explore ceramics without committing, need additional guidance, or require flexibility due to a busy schedule for beginners and advanced students. You will not complete a work in this class. Multiple class sessions will be necessary to complete a piece. $40 per session, or purchase a discounted pack of Single Classes below. Clay, glaze, and 1 hour of open studio time is included with each session; firing fees are an additional 6 cents per cubic inch per piece. These classes are student-led - you come to class with a project idea or ask your instructor for a specific demo. We offer community tools, but recommend bringing your own. Ongoing Classes are taught over a series of weeks and focus on a specific topic. Clay, glaze, and unlimited open studio time comes with ongoing courses while in session and is available from 10 am to 8 pm, 7 days a week; firing fees are an additional 6 cents per cubic inch per piece. Ongoing Classes can be rescheduled up to one week before the class start date. Most Intro classes include a beginner tool kit. We offer community tools, but recommend bringing your own. Elevate your work to the next level by exploring all the possibilities of ceramic surfaces! We will learn about decorative slip, underglaze, and glaze, and cover techniques such as sgraffito, inlay, DIY stenciling, and more. Tiles will be provided for students to work on in class, but you’re encouraged to bring your own work (greenware and bisque) to experiment with too. A tool kit is not included in this class.
