Spring has sprung, and with the perennials blooming and the annuals being planted again, there’s one thing your garden is probably missing- little houses! In this three week workshop, we will build and glaze a few little (or big) starter homes for your garden inhabitants, whether fairies or frogs, they are sure to love some handmade houses! This is a hand building class; all levels are welcome!
In this 3-week course, students will create their own ceramic garden fairy house using hand-building techniques. This class is open to all levels and will guide you through shaping, assembling, and adding decorative details to bring your piece to life.
Students will have time each week to build and refine their work with guidance and feedback, leaving with a finished, functional (and magical) garden piece.
Clay, glaze, and unlimited open studio time (10am–8pm, 7 days a week) are included while the class is in session. Firing fees are additional at $0.06 per cubic inch per piece.
